Dr. Cindy Hand
Cindy first heard her calling to veterinary medicine years before attending vet school. She attended the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology with hopes of becoming a veterinary nurse.
She realized she wanted to become a veterinarian when the answers to her questions always seemed to be, "That's for the Dr. to know".
So, she decided to become a doctor so she could have those questions answered. Cindy graduated from vet school in 2005. She attended school in Western Australia and stayed on there for 3 years after graduation as a small animal veterinarian until she heard home calling her back. After returning home, she met and married her husband, Jason.
They have a 6-year-old daughter and 5 French Bulldogs. Yes, 5! She has worked in multiple hospitals across the Denver metro area, including general practice and emergency. When she isn't working, she and her family enjoy traveling, concerts, pontooning, motorcycle riding, and hanging out with friends and family.
