Dr. Griffin believes “because pets can’t speak, we need to speak for them. I call it, ‘pet advocacy.’ I treat all animals, as if they were my own.” His interest in animals developed during summers spent on his grandparent’s Virginia farm. That interest led him to a career in veterinary medicine. After graduating from from veterinary school at CSU in 1983, Dr. Griffin went on to become Hospital Director at Aspenwood Animal Hospital for eleven years where he met Dr. Scolnick. The two opened Pets On Broadway in August of 2000. Dr. Griffin works in all areas of medicine, with a focus on internal medicine, basic surgery, dentistry, and endoscopy (gastrointestinal scoping). To keep current, Dr. Griffin attends yearly seminars on internal medicine and general medical/surgical conferences. He is married to Debbie and along with their son Chase, they have a cat Wilbur, and dogs Harley, and Spencer.
