age should I start vaccinating my cat/dog? |

We
recommend your pet get a series of vaccinations at eight, twelve,
and sixteen weeks, (for both kittens and puppies). |

vaccines do you recommend for my cat/dog? |

For
indoor cats, we recommend distemper, upper respiratory, and rabies.
For outdoor cats, we suggest the above vaccines, plus feline leukemia.
For dogs, we recommend distemper, hepititis, upper respiratory (bordetella
and parainfluenza), parvo, as well as rabies. |

suggest you call Central Veterinary Emergency at 303-874-7387. Plus,
both Dr. Scolnick and Dr. Griffin make themselves available by cell

are some of the preventative steps you recommend for the health of
my pet? |

We
recommend annual check-ups and vaccines when appropriate. Its
smart to check for heartworms and to do regular dental checks. Regular
grooming is also important, among other things. |
